Getting There

FLIGHTS

For those that are traveling from abroad, here are some of my (Manu’s) general recommendations to get to Santiago. Disclaimer - Chile is far away! But we hope to make the trip worth it.

FROM US WEST COAST
The fastest option is to catch the direct flight from LAX - SCL with LATAM. Some other favorites are United via Houston (IAH), Copa Airlines via Panama City (PTY), or Delta via Atlanta (ATL). Flights from the west coast are around 12 - 14 hours.

FROM US EAST COAST
There are direct flights from New York City (JFK) and Miami (MIA) with LATAM / Delta or American Airlines. Otherwise, you’ll be looking at options with layovers in Houston (United) or Atlanta (Delta).

FROM EUROPE
There are direct flights to Santiago from Madrid (MAD), Paris (CDL), and London (LHR). I’m partial to the AirFrance flight from Paris (best onboard service of the options above). Flights from Europe are around 14 hours.
